Gruss vom Krampus!

So its December 5th! We all know what that means!

Except probably most of us don’t, because this isn’t Eastern Europe you guys! I learned recently about the Eastern European Christmas tradition of the Krampus, Santa’s monster-demon accomplice that travels around to scare bad children into being good, or if they are past the point of no return he drags them in his basket down to hell. The anti-Santa basically, and he is pretty terrifying:

Apparently tonight, December 5th, is traditionally the night that young men would be roamin’ around  as this demon and scare the crap out of all the small children.

Since I am Hungarian by heritage I figure I probably need to do my part. I am so stoked on this myth/legend/tradtion I bought a t-shirt from TeeFury, designed by Miss Monster. I am wearing it today to frighten all the small children I see, which admittedly won’t be many, but it is a sweet tshirt:

So you know, Kellemes Karacsonyi unnepeket and Gruss vom Krampus
